Dream Work

“It is my assumption that all dreams come in service of health and wholeness and that only the dreamer knows for certain what his/her dreams means.”

I have been fascinated by dreams all my life

Every night we fall asleep so that our bodies can rest from the day’s activity.
Every night we also enter into dream time.
Sometimes we remember those night time excursions; other times we don’t.

As a young child, I had a delightful dream about a magical night forest.
As an adult, I remembered that dream forest and created this collage. Through the collage, I can access the landscape and the story of my dream memory – which is also a way of accessing myself more fully.

Benefits of Tracking & Listening to Our Dreams

Recording dreams in a journal can be a fascinating creative process. It can become a record of the wisdom of our deep self. Often there are familiar dream places which have been visited over and over again. We can watch themes unfold and gain insight and clarity about our lives.

Our dreams speak to us. Sometimes in symbols and metaphors. Sometimes in straight forward messages and even warnings. Working with our dreams means remembering, sharing and exploring them with an ear toward the gifts they hold. This is a creative process which looks to inquiry not analysis. Sharing dreams with others can help amplify them, but the dreamer always holds the final word.

My dream consultations are guided by  20 + years my own dream work and training from a Jungian lens.  I also have work with Robert Bosnack in his Embodied Dream mehod.

Also, in the last several years, I have had the privilege to work with Robert Moss http://www.mossdreams.com . I have been trained in his Lightening Dream Work Process. It is a fun and profound way for dreams to open up their secrets.

I can help you unravel your dreams.

Sometimes a “big dream” can change the course of your life.
Other times dreams are frightening.
Recurring nightmares happen to get our attention, but listening to them by ourselves can be hard.

Dream work is an ongoing part of my practice. I offer individual stand-alone sessions to work through dreams that are calling for attention. Periodically, I also offer dream circles and workshops. And I am available to come to your event to play with dreams together.
